Strips come from your breakdown
Each scene from the breakdown becomes a strip carrying its own facts: INT/EXT, location, time of day, and the cast tagged into it. You are arranging real production data, not coloured rectangles you have to keep in your head.

- What is a stripboard?
- A stripboard (or production board) is a scheduling tool where each scene is represented by a strip showing its scene number, INT/EXT, location, time of day, page count, and cast. Arranging the strips into shooting days produces the shooting schedule — traditionally on physical cardboard strips, now digitally.
- How do you schedule a film shoot?
- You group scenes by the things that are costly to change: shoot everything at one location while you are there, cluster an actor's scenes to limit their work days, and keep day and night exteriors in blocks that match available light. The stripboard makes those groupings visible so you can find the cheapest viable order.
- Is Green Room's scheduling free?
